How the Aquafer Works

Through a complex distribution system, water flows through the Aquafer in an up flow direction. Your water Is filtered through Kinetic Degradation Fluxion (KDF). The KDF redox process works by exchanging electrons with contaminants. This give and take process converts many contaminants into harmless components. Chlorine, heavy metals such as lead, mercury are removed as well. In its final stage, the water passes through a spring loaded chamber creating a slight pressure drop. This pressure drop initiates the formation of calcium hardness crystals.

These crystals pass through a catalytic surface which greatly multiplies the number of crystals. It is the last two steps that set our patented process apart from similar products. The multitude of calcium crystals pass through a strong magnetic field which serves to hold the crystals in a suspended form for 24 to 72 hrs. This entire process binds calcium (hardness) particles to each other rather than to your plumbing fixtures.

How Does the Aquafer Plus Work?

Water entering the Aquafer Plus first encounters our patented catalytic device where the calcium hardness is connverted from a dissolved solid to a temporary suspended solid. Dissolved hardness is what causes hard water scale and interferes with soaps and damages water heaters. As a suspended solid, it simply washed through the plumbing with no reaction to pipes or soaps.

Next the water enters the lower tank. It flows upward in a bed of KDF (Kinetic Degradation Fluxion KDF-55). The Patented KDF process media reduces or removes chlorine, lead, mercury, iron, hydrogen sulfide, heavy metals and bacteria from the water.

The water then enters the top tank where it contacts a tricalcium phosphate rich blend of minerals that absorb the fluoride and any heavy metals that may have been missed by the KDF.

The water then exits the system through a full port by-pass valve and into your home or facility.
